Sable River, Nova Scotia

Sable River, Shelburne County is a small, lovely town on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, named after the wild romantic Sable River, that meets the Atlantic Ocean at endless Louis Head Beach. Surrounded by that breathtaking natural scenery, embedded in a bird sanctuary and the home of some curious seals, we are located on two great waterfront spots as ideal starting point for everything that Sable River has to offer.

In Sable River we have a superb sorted gas station, that cover all daily needs and a super service oriented auto repair shop, with both  owners and staff we became long years friends with. But there are also lovely neighbours and farmers in Sable River, that serve the community with organic grown vegetables or milk and eggs.

Airport pick-up

If you come to Nova Scotia by plane, we are to offer our airport shuttle — no matter the time. This is how our lovely neighbours offer the service to us and we want to offer you as well. The fare each ride is 80 Cad a car including 4 guests. The ride on Fisherman’s Memorial Highway along the coast takes usually 1h 50 min and passes many of the points of interests and sightseeings you can visit in your holidays.

Depending on the time of your arrival, we can also do a grocery shopping break, so you are well supplied for your first day or next morning. Otherwise just let us know, what your wished morning starters are, so will find it in your fridge when you arrive and you don’t have to rush in the morning to get some breakfast organized after your arrival.
